Before You Order

Q: What types of items do you currently finish?

Sudbrook currently offers round, square, and rectangular ornament finishing. Additional finishing services—including stand-ups, pillows, stockings, and acrylic inserts—will be introduced over time.

.

Q: Do I need to choose my finishing fabric when I place my order?

Yes. When placing your order, you’ll choose from our thoughtfully curated fabric collection. Each fabric has been carefully selected to complement a wide variety of needlepoint styles, making it easy to choose a finish you’ll love.

.

Q: Do I need to send matching cording, fabric, or any other finishing supplies?

No. Sudbrook provides everything needed to finish your piece, including the fabric, cording, and all finishing materials. Simply send us your stitched canvas using the prepaid shipping label and instructions provided after checkout.

.

Q: When should I place my order? Before or after I finish stitching?

We recommend placing your order after you’ve finished stitching your canvas. This allows us to begin finishing as soon as it arrives, helping us maintain our quick turnaround times. If you have any questions before then, we’re always happy to help.

Shipping Your Canvas

Q: Is shipping included?

Yes. Shipping is covered both ways. We will send you a prepaid shipping label with your order confirmation and your return shipping is covered, as well.

-

Q: How do I send my canvas?

Once you place your order, you’ll receive an email with simple shipping instructions. Package your canvas securely and follow the instructions in your order confirmation. We'll let you know when it arrives!

-

Q: Do I need to include anything in the package?

We’ll let you know exactly what to include in the email we send you after your order is placed, making the process simple and straightforward. As part of that process we do ask that you include the printed confirmation form in your package so we know we have the right selections.

-

Q: What type of packaging should I use to send in my canvas?

A padded bubble mailer is the easiest and most common way to send your stitching. Simply place your canvas inside a plastic bag or sleeve for added protection, then package it in a padded mailer using the prepaid shipping label included after checkout. If your canvas is especially large or delicate, a small box is also a great option. We recommend avoiding any folds or creases whenever possible.

-

Q: Can I include multiple canvases in one shipment?

Yes. You’re welcome to include multiple canvases in the same shipment, as long as each piece has its own order. Simply include all of your stitched canvases and their corresponding order confirmations in one package.

Finishing

Q: How long does finishing take?

Most orders are completed within 2–4 weeks of receiving your stitched canvas. If your turnaround time will be longer due to seasonal demand, we’ll let you know before you place your order so there are no surprises.

-

Q: Will my ornament look exactly like the product photos?

Every ornament is finished by hand, making each piece one of a kind. While small variations are natural, every ornament is crafted with the same care and attention to detail shown throughout our collection.

.

Q: Can I request custom cording?

In general, we select cording that complements your canvas and the fabric choice. If you have strong preferences please let us know! You can either add in a note on your order confirmation or contact us and we'll do our best to accommodate.

.

Q: Can I check on the status of my order?

Absolutely. We’ll keep you updated throughout the finishing process, including when your stitching arrives, when it’s being finished, and when it’s on its way back to you.
